New York to Dallas - J.D. Robb, Susan Ericksen Since I just finished all the others, I had to have the latest one, even if it is in hardcover, which I can hardly afford. This rates as one of my favorites, because of the personal stuff. The case was interesting and all that - excellent and creepy villains, for sure - but the reason I'll spring for a HC here is the people. The relationships, the difficulties, the teamwork: these characters mean something to me now. (Of course, since it's set in the future, knowing I am old enough to be one of the grandmothers that pop up every now and then is a bit disturbing, but what are you gonna do? )
