The thing about audio books is that it takes approximately 16X longer for someone else to read the book to me than it would for me to just read the book myself. Which can be frustrating when you have nothing to do, and just want to speed through the rest of the book, and you can't. On the other hand, it comes in mighty handy when you're trying to do other things, like cook or clean or pretend you have a life besides books, so there's that. As to the actual book, it was a bit more fantastical than I was expecting (since previous Jennifer Crusie books I've read were pretty strictly contemporary romances), but quite enjoyable, just the same. Crusie is really good at the funny, and there was some dialogue in here that made me chuckle along, so that always earns points in my book. I like the team writing, I think these authors make it work really well.
